1. Introduction

Ads Automation ("we", "our", "us") operates this web application that allows users to automate Facebook post boosting via the Meta Marketing API. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and delete your personal data.

2. Data We Collect

When you log in via Facebook, we collect and store the following data:

  • Facebook User ID – to identify your account
  • Name – your Facebook display name
  • Email address – from your Facebook profile (if provided)
  • Facebook access token – a long-lived token (valid up to 60 days) used to make API calls on your behalf
  • Page access tokens – tokens for specific Facebook Pages you authorize, stored as part of boost rules
  • Boost rule configurations – settings you define (page selection, ad account, budget, targeting, duration)
  • Automation logs – records of automated boost actions performed by the system

We do not collect payment information, and we do not have access to your Facebook password.

3. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to operate the service:

  • Authenticate you and maintain your session
  • Fetch your Facebook Pages and ad accounts to display in the dashboard
  • Automatically boost new posts on your selected Pages according to your configured rules
  • Display automation logs and history
  • Send system error notifications to administrators (no personal data included)

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties, except as required to operate the service via the Meta Graph API.

4. Meta Platform Data

This application uses the Meta (Facebook) platform. Data obtained via the Meta Graph API is used solely to provide the automation service and is not used for advertising, resale, or any purpose beyond what is described in this policy. We comply with Meta's Platform Terms and Developer Policies.

5. Data Retention

Your data is stored as long as you use the service. Access tokens are automatically invalidated by Meta after 60 days or when you revoke access. If you remove this application from your Facebook account settings, we will delete your data within 30 days of receiving the deletion request from Meta.

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Union, you have the right to:

  • Access – request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Rectification – request correction of inaccurate data
  • Erasure – request deletion of all your data (see section 7)
  • Portability – request your data in a portable format
  • Objection – object to processing of your data

7. Data Deletion

You can delete all your data at any time. See our Data Deletion Instructions page for details. You can also remove this application from your Facebook account by going to Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites and removing "Ads Automation". This will trigger automatic deletion of your data from our systems.

8. Security

We use HTTPS for all data transmission. Access tokens are stored in our database and are only used to make API calls on your behalf. We do not log or expose tokens in application logs.

9. Cookies

We use a single session cookie (session_token) to maintain your authenticated session. This cookie is HttpOnly and Secure, and is deleted when you log out.
